Our Hawaiian word of the week is “I love you,” which is pronounced “Aloha wau ia oe.”

Aloha means “love.”

Wau mean “me.”

Oe is “you.”

The literal translation is Love is you is me. In Hawaiian, I don’t love you. I am love, as are you.
